Frequently Asked Questions

What types of devices do you buy?

We specialize in new, used, and broken electronics, including Apple (iPhones, iPads, MacBooks), Gaming (Laptops, Consoles, Handhelds, VR), Cameras (Mirrorless, DSLR, Drones), PC Parts (GPUs, CPUs, SSDs, RAM) and more. If you’re unsure about your device, please give us a call!

How do I get a quote for my device?

To get a free quote, simply fill out our form or call (616) 300-8922. The only information we need is the model and any known issues. From there, we'll assess its condition, analyze real-time market data, and provide a fair offer without guesswork.

How long is my quote valid for?

Our quotes are no-obligation and remain valid for 7 days. Because market demand for tech fluctuates, the price may need to be adjusted after that window, but you are always welcome to reach back out for a refreshed offer. We are always buying tech, so reach out whenever.

Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Yes, you need to schedule an appointment. To keep our overhead low and our offers high, we operate as a home-based business without a traditional storefront. For your security and ours, all transactions are conducted via scheduled, public meetups in the Grand Rapids area.

How long does the selling process take?

If you are properly prepared (meaning your device is erased, you have your ID ready, and you arrive on time) the whole process can take as little as 5 minutes. We perform a quick visual and functionality test to verify the model and condition—and then immediately issue your payment.

What do I need to bring to the meetup?

Please bring the device fully erased and reset, along with a valid ID for the required Bill of Sale. That is all we need to get you paid!

Why do you require a Bill of Sale?

A Bill of Sale is standard for any professional transaction, as it acts as the official transfer of custody. It ensures safety for both the buyer and seller, protects us against the repercussions of unintentionally buying stolen goods, and is required for accounting and tax purposes.

What happens to my data?

We highly recommend that you back up and factory reset your device before the meetup. If you run into trouble with the reset, we can help you perform a factory wipe during our meeting to ensure your personal information is 100% protected before we take possession of the device.

What are my payment options?

We pride ourselves in being a simple, modern business, meaning we have phased out cash payments for security and efficiency. We offer instant payments via PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, or Apple Pay. No trade-in credit and no checks. Just a clean, safe, and modern way to get paid.

Do you buy broken devices?

We will buy smashed, broken, dented, and shattered gear if the market demand is there. We take pride in connecting broken high-ticket tech with our network of repair specialists, ensuring your "junk" gets a second life while putting cash in your pocket.

Can I sell a phone that is still financed?

Yes. Most financed phones are on unsecured lines of credit, meaning they are rightfully yours to sell. Many of our customers sell their financed devices to us specifically to get the money needed to pay the remaining balance with their carrier. It is often a smart move after a dumb choice.

Do you buy blacklisted or account-locked devices?

Yes we do. We can purchase blacklisted or iCloud/Account-locked devices at their "for parts" value, provided they are not stolen and rightfully yours to sell. This generally applies to newer models where individual components still hold high used-market value.

Do you buy high-ticket tech?

Absolutely. Because we know how to analyze market data rather than making a safe, generalist, lowball offer, we are able to make aggressive, fairly priced offers on high-value equipment that other professional buyers shy away from. If you have a high-ticket item that has been sitting on Marketplace for a few weeks, then take it down, and bring it home. We are the demand.

Can I sell multiple devices at once?

Yes! We love bulk sales, especially inventory that has been professionally diagnosed, refurbished, or brand new. Whether you are a business, an avid collector, or just someone with more than one device we can provide a quote for your lot. We can also buy lots at a 'for-parts' price.
